GL.iNet Finally Meshes
I recently installed the 4.10.1 version of the GL iNet software on my Flint 3 and Slate 7 because they FINALLY support mesh networking!
So far it’s working well. The node setup was straightforward and didn’t require having to search for configuration settings. The UI is nice enough to show if devices are connected via the main router or the mesh node and what kind of connection it’s using 2.4G, 5G, 6G or MILO.

This update also includes “Flow Control” which adds a deep packet inspection tool and content filter. This is nice to see what sites and apps are chewing up your bandwith. Like today I learned that a 50 minute Zoom call used about 1.5GB.
